Most people say, ‘Oh young people, they don’t listen.’ They do. They do listen. If you show them that you care about them and you want to help them, they listen and they take your advice. It is amazing how much that they do take on.
As a caring and courageous mum, Stacey knows what it means to truly support the growth of a young adult in all the ways that matter.
Her newest book project, which she discusses at length in today’s podcast, is designed to help children and teenagers who are disconnected from their own families. For many of these kids, their fundamental questions about life go unanswered every day, forcing them to make critical life decisions without the guidance of an experienced adult.
Stacey’s drive to make an impact in her community led her to learn how to get recognized as an author, as well as how to help teenagers with social skills. All this and more she shares with our listeners on the podcast!
