What is the best time to pin on Pinterest to attract more audiences?

Most people don't understand the importance of knowing the optimal time to post a pin on Pinterest. They post pins at odd hours or whenever their content is ready. Some people post pins after skipping a few days. And when they don't see the results, they quit using Pinterest.

The success of Pinterest marketing depends on many factors. What type of content you are posting, are you using SEO keywords in your pin description, are you linking your pins to your website, and are you consistently pinning on Pinterest?

The majority of users ignore the consistency factor, and as a result, they fail to see the increased clicks and leads. You must be actively pinning on your business Pinterest account.

It is simple. If you are pinning more pins, more audiences will see them. It will boost the traffic driven to your website.

Now, I won't tell you how many pins you should be pinning every day. It differs for every niche and depends on your content. You can pin 5 times a day or 50 times a day, depending on your targeted audience.

But you must know when to pin to get successful outcomes. I understand that it's hard to know when your audience is searching for your niche's keywords. So, without further ado, let's dive in and answer the daunting question.

What is the best time to post a pin on Pinterest?

Earlier, the Pinterest users would see the pins in chronological order, which means the most recent pins are shown on the top. With the introduction of the Following Tab, Pinterest uses Smart Feed to display content.

The Pinterest algorithm decides whether your pin should be added to the Smart Feed or account's personalized feed. That's where the optimal timing comes in.

Pinterest tracks the timing when you post your pins and check user engagement to rank it. If you are posting your pin when more audience is available to see and engage with it, Pinterest will show the content in the Smart Feed. The platform will display this content to more users who search for keywords related to your niche.

On the contrary, if you are posting pin at odd hours like at midnight, Pinterest will assume that the quality of the content is not good enough to show in the Smart Feed.

That's the reason why some of your pins don't perform well. If you are constantly posting at the wrong time, it will adversely affect your Pinterest marketing.

Then, what should be your Pinning Strategy?

Well, you need to remember that Pinterest is a search engine, and the users can find your pins through the search bar. Here is what you can do to upgrade your Pinterest Strategy and earn a higher Pinterest search rank.

Consistently Pin Every Day

The best thing you can do to promote your Pinterest marketing is consistently pinning every day. Spread your pins throughout the day to get more exposure.

As I mentioned above, you can pin 5 times or 50 times. It depends on your content and targeted audience. Make sure that the quality of the content is high. Don't go crazy and post 40 pins, where the majority of pins have low-quality content. Then there is no point in posting these pins as they won't attract other users.

Start your Pinterest marketing with 3-5 pins a day and, over time, increase the number of pins. Once you have a consistent number of followers, you can limit the daily pins.

Pinning Method: Manual or Scheduled

Let's say you have content ready for 30 pins. You have two options here; you can either post all of the 30 pins at the same time or separate them throughout a day or two.

Pinning all of the pins at the same time is the worst thing you can do to your Pinterest marketing. So, how can you make sure that you are posting the pins at separate timings?

If you choose to pin on Pinterest manually, play with your schedule, and find out what time works for you. You should always refer to Pinterest analytics and check when your website is getting the most traffic. If you get a high number of audiences in the morning and the evening, you can divide the pins equally.

Importance of First Pinterest Pin

Don't take your first Pinterest pin lightly. Your first pin builds your online image. You need to perfectly curate the pin based on your blog or website content. Once the pin is ready, you should pin it on the relevant niche board. Don't forget to link the pin to your business website.

Content

You can enhance the audience engagement by repining other user's content that is related to your niche. Pinterest allows you to pin third party content that will attract more Pinterest users to your board. You can also pin the recommended content that you receive in your email from Pinterest.

This ensures that the Pinterest algorithm knows your board and what type of content you are posting.

Unlike Facebook, the pins on Pinterest stay available to users for a very long time. You can always repin the old pins. It is recommended to post new content every week. If you post old content and create new content, it will ensure that your content performs well with the Pinterest algorithm and reaches out to more audiences.

Use Hashtags

While pinning a new pin on Pinterest, you can add hashtags that are related to your niche. You can include SEO keywords and create 2-5 hashtags based on your niche. You should develop hashtags that explain the topic of your pins.

You can make your pins more searchable by adding an SEO keyword-rich description along with the pin. You can include hashtags in the description as well.
